An introduction to IPFS (InterPlanetary File System), a content-addressable, distributed replacement for HTTP.
HTTP is starting to show it's age, and it's brittleness. The IPFS proposal works with content, not files, and distributes this content over the web, creating reducing traffic over the backbone of the Internet. And it is up and running now!
