Sandbox VR, a full-body virtual reality experience, has announced the opening of a new venue in Tysons Corner, VA. For those who have not tried this type of Extreme Reality, it is a VR experience within a custom arena, running specific short scenarios. Similar to the now defunct The Void, Sandbox VR has a list of impressive IPs, including Star Trek, Squid Games, Deadwood & Dragon Fire. Costumers put on mobile VR equipment, which often includes props like weapons, and then enter physical rooms. The VR glasses have them interacting with VR character, as well as enhanced environments. For example, in The Voids Star Wars experience, players cross over a bridge on the furnace planet of Mustafar, feeling the heat and smelling the sulfur from the Lava.

I wonder what scenarios they will have for Star Trek. You will definitely experience a Transporter!

Introduce yourself, tell them what you are going to talk about, talk about it, tell them what you talked about, take any questions. It sounds terribly formula, but it actually works to make it memorable for an audience.
